Valverde stands up for Solari when asked about Zidane and Mourinho

Santiago Solari remains in charge at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu for now and Ernesto Valverde reminded journalists of this during his Friday press conference.

Asked about the fact that Zinedine Zidane and Jose Mourinho are being linked with returns to Real Madrid, he praised the Frenchman and the Portuguese, and also the current coach.

"They're good coaches and I have no doubt about that, as they've demonstrated it," he said of Zidane and Mourinho.

"Just like Solari is as well."
