I think all the Liverpool player started hating ramos after ucl final incident. But the fact is ramos didn't do this intentionally . I don't think if salah was on that match they would win because Real Madrid fully dominated that match. .Guys what ever u say but the truth is ramos is still the best at this age . He is true leader . He always comes front when teams need . I know that Ramos not having good time this season . But still he is best . Varane is also great . But still not his level till now .VVD is currently the best. I don't why lovren speaks so much . He is not in the top 10 list . But I would still prefer ramos above than varane

when we talk about complete defenders Sergio Ramos tops the list guys let's be realistic when we comment noone wants a sisy kind of defender in their team player ,coach nor supporter we have dengerous forwards nowadays i.e Ronaldo, Messi ,Cavani & a whole bunch of game changing strikers & midfielders. ....my point is these kind of marauding players need to be tested tested here & now least they make a party out of u a little nudge on the heal or a little tug of the jersey wouldn't do no harm ,a defender should give his man something to think twice about noone wants a highway for a defender & Sergio Ramos ain't no highway but a roadblock

to me van dijk is the best defender in the world now...he's got pace,agility, tackling ability,aerial threat,good passer and an intimidating presence in his own box
varane has almost the same qualities.. but it's not as good as van dijk..he's only lucky to have played for Madrid..a club that wins laurels every season..and showcases d best talents around the world
so van dijk choosing varane over Ramos is justified based on recent performances over the years
but the best currently is van dijk

With due respect, if I'm offered to choose 2 center backs Van dijk will be 2nd one right now but my first one will be Ramos. He maybe destructive or maybe a card getting player but still he is the best defender I have ever seen cause whatever he does, he does it for team and this is what every defender should do...

there's no denying the quality of Van Diyk. He's obviously a top quality player. He is solid defensively plus he gives you options up front. He also is a good leader. But he is nowhere near Sergio Ramos. Even Varane is no where near Ramos. This is because Ramos shows up for the big games (save this season). How many winning headers has he won at die minute?? many. Liverpool and Madrid are capable of winning matches without Van Diyk or Varane being fully in the match!! Every team needs players that are able to show up for the big games and to lead on the pitch. The truth every player will tell you (if they are being honest) that they would want a player like Ramos who always stands up for his team mates. He can be a lot of trouble for opposition teams and tbis is why he us the best
