FC Barcelona medics published a report about Thomas Vermaelen, who is not in the 22 man squad heading to Manchester for the Champions League quarter final first leg on Wednesday.
The report says Vermaelen has a hamstring problem in his left leg.
The defender was not included in the squad to face Atletico Madrid on Saturday either.
Vermaelen has participated in 11 games of Barca's 48 this season (677 mins) and this is his fourth muscular injury of the season. He has been injured 27 times in the last 12 years.
Ousmane Dembele is, however, on the squad list even though he's not yet received his medical clearance to play.
