According to Sport, Villarreal has begun a new round of renovation work at the Estadio de la Cerámica, continuing to upgrade facilities and improve the fan experience.
This project will focus on improving stadium entrances and exits, building new evacuation routes and diversion corridors, while optimizing internal traffic flow and safety conditions on match days.
Affected season ticket holders
The club acknowledges that these renovations may lead to adjustments in seating arrangements, potentially affecting some season ticket holders for the 2026-27 season. However, Villarreal stated that detailed information will be released when the next round of season ticket sales begins.
Villarreal also stated that season ticket holders potentially affected by the new stadium layout will receive individual notifications. The club will also offer different options for them to choose the most suitable arrangement, ensuring viewing comfort and maintaining their connection with the team.
The club emphasized that it will continue to provide updates on the progress of the project. This round of construction continues the stadium renovation that began in 2023, coinciding with the club's centenary year. Villarreal hopes to transform the Estadio de la Cerámica into one of the most iconic stadiums in Spanish football, highlighting its modernity, integration with the surrounding environment, and spatial diversity.
