In the eighth round of LaLiga, during Real Madrid's home match against Villarreal, Vinicius received a red card in the 72nd minute.
Vinicius had scored a goal following an assist from Bellingham, but VAR intervened and the referee showed Vinicius a red card for pulling William Saliba's hair during play.
According to Article 130 of the Spanish Football Federation's disciplinary code, pulling an opponent's hair during a challenge for the ball or during play is classified as "violent conduct" or "assault", and such actions typically result in a suspension of 1 to 3 matches.
If Vinicius receives a two-match suspension, he will miss El Clásico against Barcelona in the away fixture of LaLiga's 10th round.
