Vinicius Junior has officially moved into the world of football club ownership with the purchase of Portuguese side FC Alverca.
According to Brazilian TV station Record, the Brazilian is part of a consortium that have bought a majority stake in the second tier outfit.
The previous owner, Ricardo Vicintin, sold somewhere between 70 and 80 per cent of the club to the Madrid star and his partners.
'FC Alverca β Futebol, SAD announces that engineer Ricardo Vicintin has sold his qualified stake in the company to a group of Spanish and Brazilian investors,' a statement reads.
The financial details remain undisclosed at this point though more infomation is expected to be revealed in the coming weeks.
Vinicius is not the first Los Blancos man to make such a move with Kylian Mbappe making headlines last year after becoming the majority shareholder in French side Stade-Malherbe Caen.
Alverca are based in Alverca do Ribatejo ,around 15 miles from the capital Lisbon.
The team sit second in Alverca do Ribatejo, just two points behind leaders Tondela.
The teams that finish in the top two will secure automatic promotion to the top flight.
The club only secured promotion to the second tier last season, marking its return after 20 years.

He probably deems it more profitable to invest in that club just as Ronaldo Nazario did on Spain It's all about profits. Besides we don't know the intricacies of investing in Brazil which is often noted for its intrigues and corruption..If Vini uses the gains and profits from his investments in Portugal (which I'm sure he will do) for development programs back in Brazil, what difference does it make if he doesn't invest directly at home?.....
