Vinicius Junior is back on track again at Real Madrid.
The Brazilian's impressive performances against Real Zaragoza and Atletico Madrid over the past few days have seen him climb up the pecking order under Zinedine Zidane.
Just a few months ago, it wasn't going so well for the 19-year-old.
Eden Hazard, who had arrived in the summer to steal his thunder, was playing in Vinicius' preferred position and Rodrygo Goes was getting more acclaim.
However, while Rodrygo was left out of the Madrid derby squad on Saturday, Vinicius was included and played a major part in Real Madrid's eventual victory.
Vinicius was involved in the winner, passing the ball to Ferland Mendy, who crossed for Karim Benzema to tap past Jan Oblak.
Not only that, the forward caused lots of problems for the Atletico defence with his jaunting runs in from the left wing.

Is there any comparison? it is so obvious vinicius is better. I also know vinicius is good finisher, in training he does it, in u17 copa America he was the highest goal scorer in flamengo he scored a lot in there youth system. he just isn't confident enough and Zidane is helping that situation. put vinicius in PSG and see if he wouldn't score 20+ goals. Rodrygo is a griezmann while Vinicius is a Neymar but are exceptional but one is genuinely gifted by God.

Rodrygo is more composed and better at this moment and his adaptation to RW also helped him break into the first team but Zidane knows how big of an asset Vinicius is, and that his talent is unmatched, and so rotating him and geving him enough playing time to develop his skills. But overall in my opinion, Lingard is a better talent than both of them 😂

Vinicius is better than Rodrygo and am sick of seeing and hearing people comparing them. What Vinicius Junior do with the ball at his feet is unmatched by any one his age. Not Jaoa Felix, Rodrygo or or anyone one else. Yes he can't score nor give good final pass sometimes but so what? because Vinicius go pass defenders in a way only Messi, Neymar, and Hazard can. So stop comparing him to someone he is way better than. Just imagine Vinicius at Benfica where nobody expects him to do anything ........ Just imagine, and make no mistake Mbappe would not have been able to break out in Madrid the way he did in Monaco so show King Vinicius Junior some respect because he is coming for world football.
