The Spanish FA's Competition Committee have dismissed an appeal from Real Madrid regarding the red card shown to Vinicius Junior when he was playing for Castilla against Celta Vigo B last weekend.
He was shown one yellow in the 67th minute for arguing with an opponent and another in the 87th minute for simulation.
Los Blancos appealed the second booking, claiming that he was genuinely brought down by an opponent, but this has been dismissed by judge Carmen Perez.
So far the Brazilian has only played 12 minutes for the first team and he won't be able to add to that at the Camp Nou on Sunday.
