It took Barcelona until the 85th minute to open the scoring against a 10-man Atletico Madrid, but two goals in two minutes have truly decided the direction of the title in LaLiga Santander.
Diego Costa received his marching orders 28 minutes into the match after insulting Jesus Gil Manzano, causing his Atletico teammates to fight on with a man less for the final hour.
Ultimately it was Luis Suarez who caused the Camp Nou crowd to breathe a collective sigh of relief as his wonderful strike from 25 yards out beat Jan Oblak. Just as he was against Villarreal in midweek, the Uruguayan was there when Barcelona needed him most.
When the match looked set to finish 0-0, Luis Suarez appeared with an unbelievable shot which nestled into the bottom right corner from 25 yards out, a goal that basically secured the direction of this season's LaLiga Santander title.
The performances of the Uruguayan have been pivotal for Barcelona, despite his physical problems, and he has often emerged when they have needed him most.
His spirit, competitiveness, bite and, above all, goals, make him an essential piece of the Blaugrana's jigsaw. The day that he leaves Barcelona, he will be a huge loss. It will be fascinating to see who eventually replaces the No.9.
Jan Oblak was a wall at the Camp Nou, causing headaches for Philippe Coutinho, Suarez and even Lionel Messi.
His performance was memorable as he saved shots with different parts of his body - his right hand, his left, with his foot...
Oblak should be referred to as Mr. Zamora.
Antoine Griezmann was whistled throughout the match and the Frenchman was determined to send a message to Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu, who is hesitant about going back in for Atletico's No.7 after being rejected last summer.
Griezmann was able to impress, despite Los Rojiblancos being down to 10 men, as he showed his elegance on the ball.
When the match was 11 versus 11, the 28-year-old was one of the game's protagonists.
Philippe Coutinho is still showing signs that does not have a good all-round game, participating in moves but never being influential.
Given the hefty fee that Barcelona paid for the Brazilian in January 2018, that is a major disappointment as Coutinho was brought in to become the Blaugrana's second creator, behind Messi, but he once again showed that maybe he isn't cut out to be that player.
The entrance of Malcom seemed to aid Coutinho, but his contribution was still underwhelming before he was brought off in the 80th minute with the score at 0-0.
Diego Costa was involved in the game's most controversial moment as he received a straight red card in the 28th minute for insulting the referee, Jesus Gil Manzano.
His dismissal meant that Atletico had to play for over an hour with 10 men and suddenly the whole course of the game had shifted.
This rush of blood is something we have seen before from Costa, but this was the worst time for it to rear its head: in Atletico's final chance to compete for the title.
Malcom was a breath of fresh air in Barcelona's attack as the Blaugrana began to take advantage of their one-man advantage.
The 22-year-old played well away at Villarreal in midweek, especially in the first half, and he was a thorn in the side of Atletico after coming on in the 63rd minute.
Ahead of the most decisive stretch of the season, Malcom is proving that he can be a useful asset for Ernesto Valverde.

the truth is luis suarez is one of the most underrated players in the barcelona squad. scores important goals, provide important assist and carry the team on his shoulders when the goat is injured or absent. coutinho should be given more time I'm sure he will overcome his lack of form. Malcom is finally showing why we supported him even when everyone wanted him to leave barcelona. look forward to seeing him team up with dembele and jovic in the post messi era. diego costa really needs to address his temple management problem as soon as possible if not he will end up underachieving..
