Girona will make history. The Catalan side will be one of the first La Liga teams to play a game in the United States. And they will do it against Futbol Club Barcelona. In their second season in the top flight, they will give up their home game in search of three points against Barça in Miami.

At the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami. A five-star venue and the home of American football team the Miami Dolphins.
Around 40 percent of the cost of their season tickets would be returned.
The Catalan club will not give figures but it could be as much as €4 million.

Barca progressed in the CDR. they had one CDR match before and another right after their Jan 28, Round 21 tie last year, the equivalent of this year's Jan 27, Round 21. 3 days seperated the first CDR game (25th) with R21, and 3 days between the second CDR game (01st). for barca to travel after midweek to the U.S., they may only get 1 practice session before returning and playing another game
