Many footballers have struggled over the years to communicate in a foreign language.
Luis Suarez was asked to take an exam in Italian to be eligible for citizenship but his trip to the country has already sparked controversy.
According to the recordings that La Gazzetta has had access to, Suarez barely spoke "in the infinitive" and was not able to conjugate verbs correctly, with his level of Italian being extremely low.
However, the Barcelona forward is not the only footballer who has had problems learning a foreign language.
Let's take a look at some of the most entertaining interviews from recent years.
Joaquin and his Italian went viral
The Real Betis winger tried to speak Italian after a match against Juventus in Turin a few months after settling in Italy, but the result was not the best.
Of course, it will always be remembered as one of the funniest interviews in recent years.
Guillermo Amor's Spanglish
Amor tried his luck in English after a victory of the team he was coaching at the time, Adelaide United.
The accent of the former Barcelona player, along with his continuous lapses in Spanish, made the interview surreal.
Half a career in England struggling to speak English
The Premier League has played an important part in Carlos Tevez's career as he played for West Ham, Manchester United and Manchester City.
Still, it seems that all his attention was on the field, and he hardly spent time learning English.
This is an interview from when he had already been in the country for four years.
Lavezzi tries his luck in French
Paris Saint-German had just clinched the Ligue 1 title in 2013/2014 and fans celebrated at Parc des Princes.
Ezequiel Lavezzi tried to join in by speaking some French but it was hard to get rid of his Argentinian accent.
Unai Emery: English, French and the 'Piky Blendis'
The current Villarreal coach went viral both while at PSG and Arsenal for his attempts to speak French and English, respectively, during press conferences.
His intonation can be improved, but his determination is beyond dispute.
Gareth Bale: Seven years in Madrid without speaking Spanish
The Welshman has returned to his beloved Tottenham Hotspur, but his time at Real Madrid was long and intense.
Despite playing for seven seasons at Real Madrid, his understanding of the language was poor.
This video uploaded by the club itself proves it as his response to Luka Modric is priceless.
Alexis Sanchez struggles to express himself in English
His decision to move to Arsenal was successful as he became a true idol in London.
In his first interview he was hesitant to speak English although his skills were adequate.
Although Alexis had a hard time with the language, he ended up learning English.

In the very first season at Juventus, within 2 months, he used to speak better Italian than Matuidi, Dybala himself said that....#hard learner,๐ During United days, he was barely a teenager, within a couple of years he started speaking English and giving interviews on his own.
Too many irrationalities in ur arguments firstly, younger people learn languages easier than older people, there's a whole study on that! Secondly, Dybala is not a native speaker, how great a judge he is? Matuidi joined a year earlier than Ronaldo, so that's also very possible but that doesn't make it smooth, it just meant Ronaldo had a faster grasp of the language than him or Tevez or Agรผero... Fanboys lick their beloved player's boots so much they don't know what ordinary words mean anymore, suddenly u don't understand "smooth" because we're talking about Ronaldo! Pep Guardiola on the other hand spoke German without interpreter in his first interview at Bayern Munich, spoke English in his first interview with City, that's smooth, not a couple years or months

U obviously didn't watch him in the early years at Manchester United, when Gary Neville used to speak for him at post match pressers... he's a hard learner, but it wasn't smooth
