The official LaLiga Santander Twitter account has sparked a debate as to who is the best goalkeeper in the competition.

With 20 candidates, Iker Casillas was unsure over his choice, tweeting: "It's very difficult to choose one, a lot of talent in that picture."

However, his former international teammate and Barcelona legend Carles Puyol was unequivocal in his assessment, brushing aside any doubts Casillas had.

"Difficult? You should understand that there is no doubt," Puyol wrote. "Marc-Andre ter Stegen (Barcelona)."
