Game is over and the final score is PSG 3-1 Auxerre. Here is the match report.

Match Report

Paris Saint-Germain rounded off their Ligue 1 campaign with an impressive 3-1 comeback win over Auxerre at the Parc des Princes.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia led the charge in the second half, ensuring the champions can go into their Coupe de France and Champions League finals with confidence.

Despite PSG's dominance in the early stages, Auxerre took a surprise lead on the half-hour mark. Gaetan Perrin's inch-perfect throughball was met by Lassine Sinayoko, who coolly slotted past Gianluigi Donnarumma into the bottom-left corner.

The hosts responded well as Nuno Mendes struck the post seven minutes later with an excellent free-kick off the left, only narrowly missing the top corner.

PSG finally pulled level in the 59th minute as Kvaratskhelia drilled a low shot into the bottom-left corner, though Donovan Leon could have done better after getting his fingertips to it.

Marquinhos gave them the lead eight minutes later, planting Mendes' corner into the back of the net after being left unmarked.

Mendes then drew a penalty in the 77th minute as he was brought down by Sinaly Diomande, though substitute Goncalo Ramos saw his tame effort from 12 yards well saved by Leon.

Kvaratskhelia then smacked the post with a bending free-kick before rounding off the win with two minutes of the 90 remaining, rounding the goalkeeper before slotting his effort into the empty net.

Data Debrief: PSG sign off from Ligue 1 in style

PSG lost their last home game to Nice, but ensured they did not disappoint the home crowd on the final day, stretching their unbeaten streak against Auxerre to six matches (W4 D2).

With this victory, they have set the new points record in an 18-team season (three points for a win era). They have racked up 84 points, bettering St. Etienne's result in 1969-70 (81).

Ousmane Dembele finishes the season as Ligue 1's joint-top scorer, having netted 21 goals this campaign. He needed one goal in this game to win the Golden Boot outright, but failed to get on the scoresheet.

He had a team-high five shots as he generated 0.95 expected goals (xG), but Mason Greenwood's brace for Marseille against Rennes means he has to share it.
