World Cup’s ‘sexiest fan’ Ivana Knoll in furious row with TV host Laura Wontorra

IVANA KNOLL savaged presenter Laura Wontorra and a German TV station for the "most unprofessional TV interview ever" ahead of Croatia's defeat to Spain.

Former Miss Croatia Knoll, 26, gained a huge following at the 2022 World Cup by wearing eye-catching outfits in the stands for her country's matches.

She was dubbed the World Cup's "sexiest fan", a tag she has brought with her to the Euros in Germany.

And Knoll was interviewed by German TV channel MagentaTV before Croatia were soundly beaten 3-0 by Spain on Saturday.

Yet after the segment, she took to social media to vent her anger.

Knoll began by posting a picture of host Wontorra, 35, alongside the caption: "Dear Laura, if I looked like that, I would only wear winter clothes forever."

She then turned her attention towards MagentaTV, adding: "The most unprofessional television ever.

"Teach your presenters the culture and never invite me for an interview again," before she ended the message with a thumbs down emoji.

BILD have reported Knoll also contacted the German outlet to say: "I don't know who this woman [Wontorra] is. 

"But people have told me that she and another woman said very bad things about me today after my live appearance on MagentaTV."

SunSport has approached Telekom, owners of MagentaTV, for comment.

Knoll is expected to attend Croatia's final two group games against Albania and Italy.

Ahead of the tournament, she spoke exclusively to The Sun about what she was planning to wear at the tournament.

She said: "I have prepared some outfits that let's say are a little bit different.

"I really love fashion and like to look fashionable when I go to the games. It will be fun I cannot wait for you to see."

Ivana recently revealed she was single as she prepared to hit the Euros after splitting from her boyfriend.

She said:"I had a boyfriend who I was with for 10 years. We broke up last year.

"Now I'm single, but I'm not looking for a new man at the moment."
