Xavi Hernandez's side Al Sadd beat Saudi Arabian Al-Nassr FC 3-1 on home soil to reach the Asian Champions League semi-finals.
The Qatari team managed to overturn a 2-1 deficit from the first leg, with the former Atletico Madrid captain Gabi Fernandez featuring in the midfield.
Al Sadd qualify for the Asian Champions League semi-finals for the second consecutive season, as in 2018/19 they made it to the final, where they were defeated by the Japanese side Kashima Antlers.
Xavi already won his first trophy as a coach this summer after beating Al-Duhail to clinch the Qatari Sheikh Jassim Cup.
