According to Opta, Yamal was directly involved in three goals for Barcelona against Deportivo Alavés. It was the third time this season he has been directly involved in at least three goals in a single match. No player in Europe's top five leagues has done so more often this season; Olise and Raphinha have also done it three times.
Yamal has now been directly involved in 23 goals this season, with 12 goals and 11 assists, the most of any player in Europe's top five leagues.
Opta also noted that every match in which Yamal has been directly involved in three goals for Barcelona in all competitions has come in 2026.
