Zaniolo's mother denies his alleged praise of Juventus

Nicolo Zaniolo’s mother has accused the Press of ‘destabilising’ the Roma midfielder after denying his alleged praise of Juventus.

Corriere Torino claimed on Tuesday that Zaniolo had confessed he could not say ‘no’ if Juve came calling during a night out.

However, Francesco Costa hit back on Instagram: “Nicolo never said any of this.

“I don’t understand how some journalists can make up certain things, destabilising a 19-year-old boy who is striving to be the utmost professional.

“If you left him alone, we’d all be grateful.”

The 19-year-old has scored six goals and provided two assists in 34 appearances for Roma this season.
