Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane has helped to fight the coronavirus outbreak in Algeria.
His charitable foundation has donated materials to a hospital in Bejaia, the province where his family originates from.
Algeria is one of the most affected countries in Africa, with more than 1,700 people infected and more than 200 dead.
Through the foundation that Zidane and his father run, they have donated five resuscitation kits, ventilators, monitors and other medical material to the city.
Zidane is not the only prominent coach in world football to have taken up the fight against coronavirus.
Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola donated one million euros to the Angel Daniel Soler Foundation in order to help them purchase medical equipment.
Tottenham coach Jose Mourinho has volunteered as part of a campaign to collect and donate food to the elderly across London.
Several others are helping too, with the world of football doing its part at these difficult times.
