On April 3, according to Spanish media outlet laSexta, Vinicius may be rested in Real Madrid's league match against Mallorca to prepare for the Champions League match against Bayern Munich.

Vinicius had previously missed team training due to physical discomfort, which had worried Real Madrid fans, but he has finally returned to Madrid in good health. Even so, Real Madrid still plans to arrange for him to rest in the upcoming league match against Mallorca in order to control his physical exertion and ensure that he can be in the best condition to meet the Champions League quarter-final match against Bayern Munich.

Reporter Marcos Benito revealed in the Spanish media outlet El Chiringuito TV program: "Vinicius returned to the team at 11 am this Thursday, but I don't think his training intensity will reach the level of his other teammates. It is expected that he will not start in the match against Mallorca, but will be on the bench, and if the game goes smoothly, there will be no need for him to play."

Mbappe's return to the starting lineup, coupled with Bellingham's possible appearance as a substitute, provides Real Madrid with more options in attack and gives Vinicius the opportunity to rest.

Although Real Madrid intends to let Vinicius rest, whether he will eventually play depends on the actual progress of the game. If Real Madrid wants to continue to stay in the La Liga title race, this match against Mallorca must be won. Although Mallorca is not as strong as Real Madrid, they have the advantage of playing at home and are currently in desperate need of points to prevent from relegation, so they will resist with all their strength.

Looking ahead to the subsequent schedule, the Champions League quarter-final against Bayern Munich is Real Madrid's core goal at this stage. Bayern Munich is currently one of the most outstanding teams in European football, and the Real Madrid coaching staff is also clear that in order to beat their opponents, all the big-name players in the team must remain healthy and in the best competitive condition. If Vinicius is absent at that time, Mbappe will take the lead in the team's attack. Mbappe has missed many games due to a knee injury, and has recently made substitute appearances in the matches against Manchester City and Atletico Madrid, and has scored goals when representing France in the national team match day, and his condition is gradually recovering.
