According to British radio station talkSPORT, Liverpool have drawn up alternative plans for attacking reinforcements in the current transfer window. If they fail to sign French player Bradley Barcola from PSG, Brazilian winger Rayan is among the candidates Liverpool are considering.
According to talkSPORT sources, Liverpool are preparing an initial offer for Barcola but believe PSG's asking price is too high. The Ligue 1 giants value the winger at around €170 million, while Liverpool plan to open negotiations with an offer closer to £80 million.
Due to the difficulty of the negotiations, Liverpool are already exploring other alternatives for the position. In addition to Rayan, talkSPORT also mentioned Said El Malaali of Cologne and Matías Fernández-Pardo of Lille as players on Liverpool's shortlist. Brighton's Yankuba Minteh was also discussed internally at the club, but no progress has been made in related negotiations.
The radio station considers Rayan an "ideal transfer target" for Liverpool. However, signing him would require a significant investment, as the Brazilian winger's release clause exceeds €100 million, though it does not become active until 2027.
