Barcelona clinched their sixth consecutive Liga F title on Sunday in style, thrashing 10-player Real Betis 9-0 on the penultimate matchday.

The victory moved Barcelona onto 81 points, six clear of rivals Real Madrid with only one game remaining.

Claudia Pina scored a hat-trick, while Ewa Pajor and Alexia Putellas both netted braces. Esmee Brugts and Aitana Bonmati also got on the scoresheet in a punishing attacking performance.

Betis were not helped by Paula Vizoso's 27th-minute red card, as she fouled Pajor as the last player, and it was a result that saw their relegation to the second division confirmed.

"This team works very hard to win titles. Everything comes from the start of the season, playing good games," Pina told DAZN.

"I feel good, taking home the match ball is the least important thing, I always try to help the team as much as I can."

Barcelona had 47 shots against Betis, including two efforts against the woodwork and 20 on target, as they accumulated 5.7 expected goals (xG).

It was a record 10th Liga F title for Barcelona in Pere Romeu's first season in charge, with the team still on course for the quadruple this term.

Barca have already won the Supercopa de Espana Femenina and have reached the Copa de la Reina and Champions League finals.

In the league, they have lost just two games, though that is more than across any of the previous five campaigns. With one game left - against Athletic Bilbao - Barcelona have scored 122 goals, while conceding just 16.
