Ralf Rangnick's damning press conference has re-emerged online and gone viral following Manchester United's shock defeat to Brighton.
Erik ten Hag's reign as Man United boss got off to an abysmal start as his side lost 2-1 at Old Trafford.
Man United were well off the pace as Roy Keane and Paul Scholes pulled no punches following the crushing defeat.
Fans online also singled out Scott McTominay following his lacklustre showing in the middle of the park.
But he wasn't the only player who failed to deliver against Brighton, with Rangnick's post-match interview following Man United's 4-0 defeat to Liverpool last season making for a fascinating listen.
The German manager, who had an interim spell in charge of the club, spoke of a team rebuild; from players to formation.
The video on Twitter is accompanied with the caption: "Ralf Rangnick knew these players aren’t good enough. They sacked him instead of listening."
Speaking after Man United's 4-0 defeat to Liverpool last season, he said: "The team needs a rebuild. Not because some players have to go but quite a few have no contracts anymore, their contracts are expiring, then for me it’s clear there will be six, seven, eight, maybe ten new players.
"Before you sign those players, you need to be aware of how you want to play, what kind of football does the new manager want to play?"
He added: "If you look at the two clubs that are currently dominating the Premier League [Manchester City and Liverpool], they did exactly that.
"They changed the whole thing with regards to formation, what kind of players do we need, what kind of football do we want to play?
"The headline of everything was: 'How do we want to play?'
"And underneath this headline, in every transfer window they’ve created the team that they have in both clubs."
Man United started two new players against Brighton in Lisandro Martinez and Christian Eriksen, with the club still looking for new talent ahead of transfer deadline day.

Ralf rangnick was right about the players and playing style. Klopp faced similar problems when he arrived Liverpool. Poor players and system of play. He’s first 2 years he didn’t play ucl football, and that made it difficult for Liverpool to attract big n good players. He was capable of managing what he had at he’s disposal. When he managed to qualify for the ucl he’s job got a little easier where he could now attract good players because of ucl football and he’s style was really good. I remember he lost he’s first game as a Liverpool manager. So all I’m saying is Eth can still transform our club if only he gets the maximum support of the board to acquire any player he demands and willing to play for man Utd. It’ll only take time

You don't run just after you are born. You swim on the ground, then walk on your knees, then learn to walk and then start running. It's a process. I have faith in TEN HAG. . WE ARE UNITED. LETS STAY UNITED FOR OUR BOSS. . Let others keep on trying to undermine us. We shouldn't fall for that. . GGMU
