After finally gaining more minutes in Diego Simeone's side, Vitolo is looking to continue his positive form in 2019 with Atletico Madrid.
Following a big-money move from Sevilla, via a loan spell at Las Palmas, Vitolo has been unable to showcase the best of his qualities to the Wanda Metropolitano.
His fortunes seem to be changing of late, however, with seven straight appearances for the team.
Despite just one of those coming as a starter, it is the most consecutive matches he has played for Los Rojiblancos and Sunday's home match against Levante could see him finally feature from the off.
Should he be given the opportunity, it is one that Vitolo will need to grab with both hands in order to convince Simeone that he is the man to bolster Atletico's frontline.
