AC Milan president Scaroni: We've made a truly fantastic progression

AC Milan president Paolo Scaroni feels the club has made great strides under his charge.

Scaroni was named president of Milan in 2018.

He reflected: “I became president of Milan in 2018 and we have made a truly fantastic progression. We reached the Europa League in 2019-20, the Champions League in 2020-21, last season we won the league and now, after so many years, we are in the semi-finals of the Champions League.

'We can be very satisfied with the sporting results, but also with the economic results, which are also starting to give us satisfaction. I am of the opinion that if you don't achieve economic results, it is difficult to achieve sporting ones.

“This year's goal is to have a positive budget. Our turnover has increased a lot, we will exceed €350m. Our revenues are growing, I hope this is the year when our figures will be positive. The last time Milan had a positive result was in 2006, really many years ago."
