The rules are straight forward and are simple . VAR was introduced because of too may injustice in soccer. From the women world cup to the Nation cups in South America VAR as helped bring justice into soccer. If it was used in yesterday’s game vs Brazil the situation would have absolutely been different. So this’s what FIFA or the South America soccer authorities should do . Without no questions yesterday referee should be fired and use him as a scapegoat to other referees. Referees are too corrupt and untrustworthy, that was why VAR was introduced. Not using it in the kinda situation is a crime. If it was the other way round, the referee would have absolutely used it . He must be fire and ban from officiating soccer for life .

Nigeria had suffered greatly in the past for wrong decisions against Argentina ,from, 94 to the under 20 wc in 2005 to the Olympics, now the shoe is on the other foot they are complaining ,while I do not support cheating in sports ,we Africans had bear the brunt of series of bad decisions by referees, Argentina now knows how we felt when such bad decisions were taken against us .
