Abbiati urges AC Milan to persist with Leao

Former AC Milan goalkeeper Christian Abbiati insists they should persist with Rafael Leao.

Many connected to Milan say the Portugal attacker should be moved on this summer after an inconsistent season.

But Abbiati told Tuttosport: "He has everything.

"His attitude might bother some, but when I go to San Siro, I see a guy who runs and has quality. He's like that, take it or leave it: he can decide the match, or it might seem like Milan are playing with one less player with him on the pitch.

"But you can't help but say he lacks class."

Leao's contract with Milan runs to 2028.
