DFB and Adidas released the new kits of Germany national team on Monday, but Jonas Hector from Cologne and Luca Waldschmidt from Freiburg wouldn't be happy, as both their names were misspelt.
When selecting the printings on the back of the shirts online, fans discovered the forementioned players would appear as "Hecktor" and "Waltschmid".
The sporting goods manufacturer Adidas has issued an apology, saying it would take all necessary steps to avoid such technical errors in the future. The company spokesman also apologized to all affected customers and fans of the national team.
