The agent of Eman Kospo has explained the decision to leave Barcelona for Fiorentina last summer.
The Bosnia international defender moved to the Viola for €850,000.
And agent Nusret Jashari told TMW: "He still had another year left on his contract... But I never had any doubts: he had to leave and come to Italy.
"Because for a defender, going to Serie A is like enrolling in university. I immediately told his family: 'Eman needs to go to Italy to learn more about defence; he needs to learn from the Italian school of thought'.
"He's very good at attacking, but by testing himself against the Italian school of thought and Serie A tactics, he can become a complete centre back. And so we decided to go to Fiorentina..."
Jashari added, "It wasn't easy; they didn't want to let him go. Even after his medical with Fiorentina, we had to wait a day waiting for a transfer that never arrived. Both we and Fiorentina insisted that Spain give the green light.
"I honestly didn't believe it, but in the end, Barça gave in and he signed with Fiorentina. Everyone was overjoyed: it was our first choice, especially because the signing day was special."
