Agent of Atalanta's Rafael Toloi flies in for talks with Serie A club

The agent of Atalanta defender Rafael Toloi has held talks with the Serie A club as he tries to push through a transfer away from Italy.

Toloi, a centre-half, has represented the Serie A club since 2015, having joined them from Sao Paulo in Brazil.

The 27-year-old made 39 appearances in all competitions last season and notched three goals.

A target of Ligue 1 side Marseille and several Premier League clubs, Atalanta are reluctant to sell and will not entertain bids of under £13million.

Andre Castilho, the player's agent, had discussions with the club earlier this week before starting talks with those clubs interested in a deal.

'Several clubs contacted me and I sit down to see what is best for my player,' he told Goal.com
