The agent of Roma star Matias Soule has opened the door to Italy calling him up.
Despite his superb form with the Giallorossi, the winger is yet to be capped at competitive level by Argentina.
Agent Martin Guastadisegno told LaRoma24: "Matias is working hard for the national team; he's the only young Argentine player who hasn't had a chance to play a minute yet.
"He's becoming a leader in a big team like Roma and deserves a chance.
"We know Argentina has many players in that position, but with this consistency, Matias deserves a call-up. His dream is to play in a World Cup.
"Soulé is Italian-Argentine, and at this point I don't know what could happen if the situation with the Albiceleste doesn't resolve itself. Everything is on hold at this point. Matias would legally have the possibility of being called up to the Italian national team."
