Massimiliano Allegri should be replaced by Antonio Conte at AC Milan, so says former Rossoneri forward Antonio Cassano.
Milan sit fourth in Serie A heading to the final two games of the season.
In what is a hugely congested race for Champions League qualification, Milan could finish as high as second or as low as sixth.
Milan are on 67 points, level with fifth-place Roma, while Juventus are a point ahead in third, with Conte's Napoli on 70 in second. Como sit sixth, on 65 points.
But Cassano feels the season has been a failure, and believes Conte is the right coach to take Milan forward.
Speaking on his Viva El Futbol show, as quoted by Football Italia, Cassano said: "Conte last year performed a miracle at Napoli, but after two years he does not stay at the same club, it is difficult.
"For me he has to go. Where? To Milan. He would be the first coach to win four Scudetti with four different clubs.
"If Milan want to do things properly, Conte is perfect. Unlike Allegri, he sells himself through the pitch and does not care about the press. He lets the football do the talking.
"Conte is one of the few coaches who, if he becomes available, can go wherever he wants. There are only three or four like him."
Cassano then hit out at Allegri and Milan's sporting director Igli Tare.
He added: "Allegri this year has destroyed Milan.
"The blame, beyond Allegri who has been a disaster, also belongs to Tare, who arrived like the saviour of the nation. And you know what he saved? Nothing."
Milan face 14th-place Genoa on Sunday, before rounding out their season against Cagliari.
PLAYERS TO WATCH
Genoa - Lorenzo Colombo
Colombo's first five Serie A appearances came for Milan between July 2020 and January 2021.
He has been involved in eight goals in Serie A this season (seven goals, one assist) – two of which came against his former club, fewer only than the four he scored against Hellas Verona – and could set a new personal best in a single Serie A or Serie B campaign (also eight in 2024-25 with Empoli).
AC Milan - Christopher Nkunku
Nkunku has scored six goals for Milan in Serie A this season, as many as he managed across his two previous Premier League campaigns with Chelsea combined (three in 2023-24 and three in 2024-25).
Only Christian Pulisic (one goal every 194 minutes) boasts a better minutes-per-goal ratio than the Frenchman (one every 202 minutes) among Milan players in the competition this term.
MATCH PREDICTION: AC MILAN WIN
Milan are unbeaten in 15 of their last 16 Serie A matches against Genoa (W10 D5); the Rossoblu's only victory in this period came in March 2020.
Genoa have failed to score in their last three Serie A matches. The last time they registered a longer run without finding the net was between January and February 2022, when three different coaches (Andriy Shevchenko, Abdoulay Konko and Alexander Blessin) took charge across four games.
Milan have won each of their last three Serie A away games against Genoa and have never recorded a longer consecutive run of away victories against them in the competition.
Allegri's team have gained 17 fewer points in the second half of this season (25) compared to the first half (42), which is the worst record in the competition.
Even if they win their last two matches, they would still finish with 11 fewer points than in the first half of the season, with only two worse such differences in the top-flight in the three-points-for-a-win era (since 1994-95): -15 in 2016-17 and -17 in 2002-03.
