Allegri key as AC Milan target Fiorentina midfielder Fagioli

Fiorentina midfielder Nicolo Fagioli\'s form this season has brought him to the attention of bigger clubs.

Tuttomercatoweb reports that AC Milan are interested in the midfielder.

However, coach Massimiliano Allegri would need to remain with Milan after the summer for any deal to go through. Allegri worked with Fagioli at Juventus.

The 58-year-old is in the running for the Italy job after Gennaro Gattuso left the post a fortnight ago.

If a move to Milan does not happen, Atlético Madrid could be a possible destination for Fagioli.

This season, the midfielder has accounted for three goals and three assists in 41 matches, 33 of which have come from the start.
