Barcelona strikers Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi were on target as Uruguay and Argentina played out a 2-2 draw at Bloomfield Stadium.
Match Reports
Lionel Messi scored a stoppage-time penalty to secure Argentina an entertaining 2-2 draw with Uruguay in Tel Aviv on Monday.
Argentina fell behind when Edinson Cavani, who scored in Uruguay's 2-1 win over Hungary on Friday, notched his 50th international goal in the 34th minute.
That lead was cancelled out when Sergio Aguero headed home a set-piece delivery from Messi, before Luis Suarez restored La Celeste's advantage five minutes later with a superb free-kick.
12' Vecino's long shot too straight
Uruguay have their first foray forward of the game and Vecino is afforded space to shoot, but he fires a tame effort straight at Andrada.
24' Messi shows off dribbling skills
Messi shows off his skill in the final third to beat a challenge, but he cannot make further headway into the Uruguay box.
34' GOAL! Argentina 0-1 Uruguay (Cavani)
Argentina are caught on the counter as Lozano collects down the left. He works the ball back to Torreira, who curls a delightful delivery over Tagliafico to Suarez in the right inside channel. His cutback is precise for Cavani to stretch and finish past Andrada from close range. There were suspicions of offside, but the linesman's flag remained down.
38' Handball! Dybalaβs goal disallowed
Dybala's effort is ruled out for handball. He latches on to Acuna's cutback in the middle and slams an effort at goal. It blasts off Godin back to the forward, striking his hand in the process. Dybala blasts a strike past Campana, but his celebrations are short-lived as the referee blows his whistle.
53' Messi's long rang free kick stopped by Campana
Messi rifles a strike low towards the right bottom corner, but Campana gets down well to push his strike away from goal. Acuna lifts a cross back into the box, but Uruguay have enough men back to clear their lines.
63' GOAL! Argentina 1-1 Uruguay (Aguero)
Argentina notch the equaliser as Aguero rises to head Messi's free-kick into the net from close range. The Barcelona man puts his delivery on the money in the six-yard box and Aguero beats his man to glance his header into the top-right corner.
68' GOAL! Argentina 1-2 Uruguay (Suarez)
Suarez lifts his effort over the wall with a curling effort. It bends away from Andrada, who gets a hand to the strike. However, it has too much power for his hand and he can only beat the ball into the roof of the net.
92' Penalty Goal! Argentina 2-2 Uruguay (Messi)
Caceres is penalised for handball as Aguero flicks the ball off his hand in the box. Messi holds his composure to notch the equaliser for Argentina. Campana commits to moving to his left and Messi spots it and strikes the ball away from the keeper down the middle of the net.

who has the world cup,is not the European teams that have been winning it for the past decade, football is made in Europe that's why you see all better players long to play in Europe, you people, you need to understand football is not about individuals but about collectiveness team work, at the end of day a better team carries the day.

I feel sad for Dybala but I am happy that argentina didn't loose. I think Schaloni is doig great job with this mixture of young and experienced stars team. It was a great game of football with so much intensity. I also wanna say that this is the beauty of South American football where you have well matched squads. I am disappointed by UEFA's qualifications which is really destroying everything. Quantity but not quality which makes me feel sick. ππ

Based on these comments it clearly show that many people wanted Argentina to lose or rather Messi to lose because it makes him look bad even when itβs not his fault. It was a beautiful game played mostly by Argentina. Goals came for Uruguay out of nothing. Argentina played a beautiful game. Hate cant stop Argentina or even Messi!

People tend to forget de reason why Argentina play many friendly matches is becos dere no qualifies for Copa America apart from world cup qualifies which is yet to start unlike Europe who plays World cup qualifies as well as euro qualifies n now introduced nations leaque which contribute to Rinaldo scoring more official goals dan Messi.CR7 fans should get dis n stop de unnecessary comparing about ronaldos goals been official n messis been friendly.πππ
retard comment.I should be telling u dat for replying like dat cos its de truth.more matches for europeans dan south Americans.Average teams against few elite teams.Always huge scoreline no wonder harry Kane n Ronaldo always scoring hat tricks every international break

such a poor penalty scored it was an easy save for the goal keeper.. Messi should learn how to score a perfect penalty
the goalkeeper did a mistake..he moved to his left before messi hit the ball and messi saw that hence he just calmly placed in the right of gk

Never..it's a friendly...the name itself clarifies it...the other one is Euro qualification...if you can't perform in needed places then Messi is just a normal person...what happened in copa semi final vs Brazil....there was the real need for Messi for arg to qualify...and as expected...no shots on target...what a goat...we call them douchebags
