Independiente full-back Fabricio Bustos has admitted to clashing with Lionel Messi while on international duty in the past.
The pair collided in training and, out of panic, Bustos apologised to the Barcelona forward, thankfully before realising all was okay.
"We have an excellent group with the national team," Bustos said to TNT Sports.
"I had a clash with Messi, it wasn't nice.
"I was too strong in one play and I should have avoided him.
"I apologised, but he said it was nothing so I was calm."
Bustos came close to accompanying Argentina at the 2018 World Cup, but he fell just short of the final squad.
