Atalanta youngster Rinaldi fighting for his life after suffering brain aneurysm

Atalanta youngster Andrea Rinaldi is fighting for his life after suffering a brain aneurysm.

Rinaldi, who turns 20 next month, fell unwell on Friday and was admitted to the intensive care unit of a hospital in Varese.

He is described as being in a ‘very serious’ condition, although he has not died, contrary to some reports.

The midfielder is currently on a season-long loan at Legnano, who are second in Serie D Group B.
