FC Barcelona are interested in Sassuolo forward Domenico Berardi, although the face competition from Roma, acording to Tuttomercatoweb.
After Barça pipped Roma to Malcom in the summer, we could be set for a similar battle for Berardi. Barça start as favourites due to their recent dealings with Sassuolo, who signed Marlon Santos from the Catalan club in the summer.
Berardi, 24, would offer an alternative to Luis Suarez, although he's also a winger. He's a left footer and has impressed in Serie A.
The Italian international has scored four goals and set up one more so far this season.
However, he's also known for his aggression. He has received a total of five red cards and 54 yellows since he made his Serie A debut in 2013-14.
The cost for Berardi, who has a contract until 2022, is said to be around 25-30 million euros. Barça may have the Marlon advantage, but Monchi and Roma will do all they can to land the Italian.
