Barcelona supporters have voted Lionel Messi's effort against Getafe in 2007 as the greatest goal in the club's history.
Fans have been voting for three months and there have been over 500,000 votes casted in total.
Sixty four goals were selected at the start of the year and it was narrowed down to three Messi goals and one from Sergi Roberto.
Messi received 45% of the votes for his goal against Getafe, while his goal against Athletic Club in the Copa del Rey final took 28% of the votes and 16% voted for his solo run in the Bernabéu in the Champions League.
11% of people thought Roberto's strike that completed a remarkable turnaround against Paris Saint-Germain in 2017 was the best goal.
Messi's goal against Getafe consisted of the Argentine picking up the ball on the halfway line before slaloming past several players including the goalkeeper to score.
The goal from the five-time Ballon d'Or winner has drawn comparisons with Maradona's solo effort against England in the 1986 World Cup.
Messi has scored 591 goals in his career for Barcelona so it could not have been easy to choose from.

It's just unbelievable the way Messi keeps the ball at his feet while he runing at full speed. I mean I've never seen something like that on another player, and nobody has, this guy is an alien, the way he dribbles makes things look easy when actually aren't. You can see another good finisher as Ronaldo, or freestyler as Ronaldinho, elegant player as Kaka or Zidane, striker as Henry, beast as Cristiano, but I bet u can't see a natural pure talent as Messi again! #VamosMessi ❤

In my opinion, Messi's goal in 2011 against Madrid is his best for several reasons. First, it was a complete solo effort. No players helped him off the ball, no runs were made, no space was opened up for him. It was just Leo Messi from start to finish. Secondly, the symbolism behind that goal. It was an El Clasico in the UCL away to his biggest rivals. As Busquets laid the ball off for Messi, it was as if the whole stadium alongside all the players (except Ramos, Marcelo, Diarra, and Casillas) just froze to witness the moment. The Guardiola Mourinho rivalry was at its peak then and it was just an indescribable moment, especially considering how Jose's Inter knocked them out the year before.

Best goal in Barcelona history? For me its Ronaldinho's bicycle kick. And plus, even though Messi is more successful than Ronaldinho, the Brazilian has scored more amazing goals and is more skillful in comparison to Messi.

Messi was/is truly exceptional, after Ronaldo de Lima retired and I thought I won't see a player to give me the joy of watching the round leather game again, God brought Messi to make football worth watching for me again, Messi has given me so many moments to be proud and he has really made me enjoyed football to this moment, he does things that is quite unbelievable, he dribbles like a magician, score so many great goals, there won't have been a debate about who is the greatest player if he had won the World Cup but unfortunately he couldn't and that's the only blemish on his career which the haters and critics always hold on to, even those that hate him does so mainly because he has humiliated their team at least once, Madrid fans can't wait for him to retire because he has made them suffered countless times, I laugh when some people troll him and say he doesn't perform when he is needed most, Messi doesn't only perform on the big stage but he performs almost every time he steps on a football pitch, the world of football would never forget your exploits, I hail thee King Messi.
