Inter midfielder Nicolo Barella could start tonight's Coppa Italia semi final first leg at home to Napoli from the substitutes bench according to a report in today's print edition of Tuttosport.
The Italian international has been one of Inter's best performing players this season but might have to settle to start the match on the sidelines instead.
At the moment, Marcelo Brozovic is the only player certain of a spot in the midfield and with Barella seemingly set for the bench, it leaves the trio of Matias Vecino, Christian Eriksen and Stefano Sensi vying for the remaining two starting spots in the middle of the park.
After his goal in Sunday's Derby della Madonnina, the report from the Turin based newspaper goes on to state that Vecino has an increased chance of retaining his place in the starting line-up.
Tonight's match at San Siro is scheduled to kick off at 20:45 local time and the winner of the two legged tie will face either AC Milan or Juventus in the final in May.
