Bayern Munich have reached agreement with Atletico Madrid left back Lucas Hernandez over a summer transfer move, according to German media Sports Bild.
The Bundesliga giants have contacted super agent Giovanni Branchini for help in order to facilitate the deal and it now appears that they have won the race.
Atletico Madrid become powerless because Bayern have decided to pay the release clause of Hernandez, which is worth €80m and valid until 2024.
Meanwhile, The Bavarians are also keeping tabs on RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner, Bayer Leverkusen's Kai Havertz, Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi and Lyon winger Nicolas Pepe.
What's more, they have already secured the signings of Benjamin Pavard and Fiete Arp (joining in 2020).
James Rodriguez's future at Bayern Munich remains open, though, as they have the option to sign him permanently for €42m in the summer.

Benjamin Pavard: "Lucas and I are very good friends. It would be great if he would join Bayern too. He proved that he is a great player. First together in France and then Bayern, that would make me proud. But of course that's a matter between Lucas and Bayern"

Lucas Hernández to Bayern already a done deal? That would explain his recent injury problems.
