Bennacer: I’m honoured by interest from other clubs but my focus is Milan

Ismael Bennacer admits he is ‘honoured’ by links with Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City and Real Madrid but assures ‘I feel great’ at Milan.

Bennacer’s form this season has fuelled speculation of moves to one of the trio, with a €50m release clause written into his Milan contract.

However, it is reported the clause does not take effect until next year and the Algeria midfielder is only thinking about ‘giving everything’ to the Rossoneri.

“I don’t know anything [about my future],” he told Le Buteur.

“My mission is limited to giving everything on the pitch. I’m working for Milan and I’m at their service.

“My focus is on my club, where I feel great. As for everything else, I’m honoured by the interest from big clubs.”

Milan paid Empoli €16m last summer for the 22-year-old, who has played 24 times this term, including against Juventus in the Coppa Italia semi-finals last week.
