Bild: Barcelona have included Ryerson in their summer transfer target list

On February 14, according to Bild, Barcelona has included Borussia Dortmund full-back Ryerson in their summer transfer list.

According to Bild, while Barcelona already has the technically gifted center-back Koundé, his contribution to the team's attack has been minimal. So far this season, he has only contributed one goal and one assist. Clearly, this performance does not meet Flick's standards.

Ryerson's contract with Dortmund runs until 2028, and he boasts impressive assist statistics: 10 out of his 11 league assists are crosses, a feat unmatched in Europe. Barcelona absolutely needs a player like him in their title challenge, and a transfer could be extremely tempting for the Norwegian international. His annual salary at Dortmund is approximately €5 million. A move to Spain could significantly increase his salary and allow him to sign the last big contract of his career, making the offer truly enticing.

One thing is clear: Dortmund absolutely does not want to let him go. However, if Barcelona offers a sky-high price for Ryerson (valued at €20 million), the Ruhr club may find it difficult to refuse. After all, the player is indeed getting on in years. However, for now, the Norwegian player will remain a focus of attention at Dortmund.

This season, Ryerson has made 29 appearances for Dortmund in all competitions, contributing 13 assists; however, in his first three seasons with Dortmund, he only had 4 assists.
