On August 20th, it was officially reported that Bologna extended Orsolini's contract until 2031.
Serie A team Bologna has completed a contract extension with the team's winger and fan favorite Orsolini, a long-term new contract that will extend their cooperation until the summer of 2031.
The Italian international's original contract was set to expire on June 30, 2027, and he had already entered the final year of that contract.
Bologna FC confirmed this Thursday that 29-year-old Orsolini has signed a contract extension, with the new contract running until June 30, 2031, by which time he will be 34 years old.
Orsolini came through the Ascoli youth academy and joined Juventus in 2017. However, he never made an official appearance for "Juventus", and was subsequently loaned to Atalanta for the 2017-18 season, and then to Bologna for the 2018-19 season.
In 2019, Bologna officially purchased Orsolini's transfer. During his time with the "Rossoblù" in Emilia-Romagna, Orsolini made a total of 309 official appearances, contributing 87 goals across all competitions. This included 273 appearances and 75 goals in Serie A.
