Brazil legend Ronaldo: I talked to Pique about business

Gerard Pique is known for his skills as a centre-back and for his business know-how off the pitch and he has been in discussions with another legend of LaLiga Santander who has made a mark on the business world, Ronaldo Nazario.

The Brazilian purchased a majority stake in Real Valladolid at the start of this season and says he has spoken to Pique.

"I talk to him about business," he said in an interview with the New York Times.

"We still have to meet to discuss more."

He also spoke about his own club's players and about the business he set up to help them with their financial affairs.

"We are trying to do for them what I did for me, which is to make sure they have a long life with all the money they've got," he stated.

In the interview, he also reflected on the possibilities ahead of him and expressed his optimism at where he can take the club.
