Juventus great Gigi Buffon says Yann Sommer has been the best goalkeeper in Serie A this season.
Sommer helped Inter Milan to win the Scudetto in his first season in Serie A this term.
Buffon said at an awards function last night: "For the goals conceded you can't help but say Sommer.
"For many it was a surprise, for me however it was a confirmation, in the sense that he is a very reliable goalkeeper. And then Szczesny also did very well.
"As for the Italians we have a forge and a reservoir that gives us hope, from Donnarumma on down we are largely covered."

I think Buffon made a mistake in this. Sommer is excellent because he has a strong defense, and this is what happened with Onana before him.
