Buffon's letter to Juventus: I returned home, season to live intensely

A month after his return to Juventus, Gigi Buffon wanted to share the feelings of what he called a "homecoming" on his official app.

"It's been over a month now since I came "back home" to my Juventus. 

"I spent this time getting to know my new teammates and catching up with my old companions of countless battles (and plenty of victories!) on the field. 

"The warm welcome I received last Saturday when I stepped on the field at the Friends Arena of Stockholm was really touching; I want to thank you all for that. 

"From now to the end of August we're going to live other emotionally intense moments. Starting with Wednesday's traditional match in Villar Perosa, a place that is part of my story, one I gladly return to every summer. 

"This year is going to feel even more special because I'm part of the family. My family! 

"Then things are going to get serious. To begin with, my comeback to Parma, at the Tardini, where I made my debut 24 years ago. Followed by the warm embrace of the Juventus Stadium, where we built an incredible series of triumphs together" Buffon wrote on his official app.
