Parma are reinforcing with imminent deals for Lazio defender Martin Caceres and Juventus youth team midfielder Manolo Portanova.
The Ducali earned three consecutive promotions to make their comeback to Serie A from bankruptcy and currently sit mid-table.
They are expected to be active over the January transfer window, with some moves already on the verge of completion.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Parma will sign Uruguay international Caceres to an 18-month contract.
Sportitalia claim that the Stadio Tardini outfit are also in advanced negotiations to take Juventus youth team midfielder Portanova on loan.
The 18-year-old contributed eight goals and five assists in 19 Primavera appearances this season, but he started out in the Lazio youth academy.
