Joao Cancelo claims he has become a ‘much better’ player at Juventus thanks to training with two of the ‘world’s best’ in Leonardo Bonucci and Giorgio Chiellini.
Cancelo was called up for Portugal’s first two Euro 2020 qualifier against Ukraine and Serbia, although his inclusion was overshadowed by the return of Juve teammate Cristiano Ronaldo.
“Cristiano Ronaldo doesn’t have to prove anything to anyone,” the right-back said at a Press conference.
“He’s made history for both the national team and every club he’s played at. It’s obvious that he adds quality wherever he is.
“The win against with Atletico Madrid? Ronaldo was really important for us going through, but the whole team did well, even if having him in the team makes it easier.
“Anyone who watched the game knows we won deservedly.”
Cancelo has played in Serie A since 2017, spending last season at Inter before making a permanent move to Juve…
“I learn something every year,” he explained.
“Now I’m training with two best defenders in the world, Bonucci and Chiellini. In Italy the bar is very high and today I feel much better than I did a year or two ago.”

That's the difference between ronaldo and the others. The man is a true football and has explored football round the world he has played against couple of teams and has overcome the difficulty of different styles of player. Adaptation is his second name. I have never seen anyone able to adapt as good as cris. Going to a new league at 34 and competing for the top score and highest assist is marvelous. The man is the conquerer. Fine wine. Ronaldo is more of a football man than just playing for a single team. He is the GOAT without doubt. Bring the ucl to turin. This is the cr7 era
