Capello: Inter Milan captain Lautaro wasn't so good

Fabio Capello says Inter Milan captain Lautaro Martinez wasn't the best player on the pitch for last night's win against Benfica.

Inter won the Champions League encounter 1-0 at San Siro stadium. Marcus Thuram struck the winner, with Lautaro named by UEFA man of the match.

Capello reflected: “When you miss so many goals and score just one goal, you always remain in the balance until the last moment.

"If the equaliser had arrived I would have wanted to see if UEFA would have rewarded him (Lautaro) or what his report card would have been.

"Probably very different from the current one."
