Former Inter Milan player Antonio Cassano shared his thoughts on the team’s Champions League semifinal performance during an appearance on Viva el Futbol. While he expressed joy as an Inter fan, he was candid in saying that Inter didn’t deserve to reach the final based on how the matches went.

“There are very few matches that really move me. I can only recall three others like that. As an Inter supporter, the joy was double. As a player and fan, when Acerbi scored, I was emotional. I know him and everything he’s been through.
It was a stunning goal—like something Harry Kane would score. I felt deeply moved when I saw it, and I was twice as happy because I’m an Inter fan.”
On Davide Frattesi’s contribution:
“Why is nobody talking about him? He gets no attention, yet he scored away against Bayern and also scored against Barça.”
Did Inter deserve to qualify over the two legs?
“I don’t think they did. Even in Tuesday’s match, it was one-sided.
Even when Inter were up 2-0, Barça still dominated possession and created many chances. The game could easily have ended 4-2.

Football is a game of the great minds. Barcelona didn't play tactically and skillfully. I would say Inter was more organised and tactical. What matters in football is the result. Inter in those two matches played tactically and this was the work of the coach.

Cassino is an hypocrite in whom there is no iota of truth. No one expect Inter to have more possession than Barcelona of course. So what is left for such a team to deserve defeating Barca into UCL Final. In such a great game play with an INTER MILAN that almost defeated Barca away if not for the own goal. And defeating Barca with such great close range goal scoring with many other goal chances even to leading 2 nil from first half. Cassano or Cassino, please focus on your retirement and stop hating without just reason.
