Havertz rules out exit

Speaking to Phrasenmaher, a podcast by German outlet SportBild, the attacker claimed that he is enjoying his time in west London and only focusing on the Champions League. As quoted by Goal, Havertz said: "I still have a two-year contract, I don't have to move every two to three years. My girlfriend and I feel very comfortable in London. I love the club, the people and the fans. At the moment we're still in the Champions League.

"My goal is to reach the final again. Football is very fast-paced, you never know what will happen. We'll see what happens in the summer. I'm not thinking about that."

Fernandez demand for Lampard

Enzo Fernandez has told Frank Lampard how he would like Chelsea to play, with the 44-year-old set to take charge until the end of the season. In an interview with the club's official website, the Argentine explained what challenges he's faced since arriving in the Premier League and how he's likes to play.

He said: "It’s a very tough league. I am coming from the Portuguese League where sometimes you play more with the ball. Here the game is faster and more physical so I am adapting step by step. I know it is going to take time but I have the support from my team-mates and the coaching staff so I can adapt quicker and better here.

"I describe myself as with the characteristics to always have the ball, always play nice football, building up with passes. "I like this type of football, keeping the possession, building up the game with passes and then attacking the spaces."

Lampard's first words

Frank Lampard has admitted that returning to Chelsea was a simple choice after the club's all-time top scorer was confirmed as the new interim manager. Speaking for the first time since the appointment, the 44-year-old said: "[It was an] Easy decision for me, this is my club.

"I'm also a very practical person. I've been on a different path since I left Chelsea but to come back when I've been asked and come back with a belief I can help until the end of the season. Delighted to get the opportunity and I'm thankful. I've a good understanding of the squad, the training ground, the stadium and the fans and I'll do my best."

Then, when asked which direction he'll be taking the Blues, Lampard said: "I've been Thinking about it a lot this morning with the people who will be working with me. I know where I want to go. Thanks to Bruno and Graham Potter, sometimes things don't work but obviously I have my own idea."
